What I'm wearing

The Named Kajo wrap Sweater and Dress Sewing Pattern has been super popular recently, so I decided to make my own festive party version! The Sequin Stretch Velour fabrics come in a lovely selection of colours and are so sparkly. As they stretch they are a great pairing for this this pattern. I picked the black colour-way and lined it with the black bamboo Jersey Fabric so it felt nice and soft on the inside.

Colourful Cottons

The crisp cottons from the Fableism collection have such gorgeous colours and textures - ideal for tops where you'd like the shape and structure to hold a bit more.

The cosy cotton flannels with their brushed surface feel lovely and would make great wintery PJ bottoms!

The Party Fabrics Edit

Our super popular seasonal stretch velvet fabrics are back in stock! Perfect for festive makes with extra comfort. Think tops, dresses and jumpsuits. Those rich jewel like tones are so fun and festive.

Or for a more subtle dressed up look these textured black fabrics would be lovely as a fancy top or blouse that could be dressed up or down.

Woven Viscose Prints

These pretty floral viscoses are a lovely option for a dress or blouse. They are both of a plain weave viscose so have a soft, smooth matt finish with gorgeous drape and movement.

Knitted Cottons

These textured cotton knitted fabrics are ideal for layering - best suited to a cardigan style or more oversized jumper or sweater they will have nice recovery due to the elastane content and still feel nice and breathable due to the cotton composition.

I hope you have found this lovely selection of fabrics inspiring and are all set and ready for some cosy sewing for the upcoming cooler months!
